Default Petition / Proposal / Suggestion: Buff Purge Signet

At current:
Purge Signet
Activation Time: 3 seconds
Recharge Time: 30 seconds
Removes all hexes and conditions, for each one lost, lose 10 energy.

Is it too much to ask for, to buff this skill? How to buff? Or 'rebalance' it instead?
Perhaps like this:
Purge Signet
Activation Time: 2 seconds
Recharge Time: 20 seconds
Removes all hexes and conditions, for each one lost, lose 15 energy.

OR

Purge Signet
Activation Time: 3 seconds
Recharge Time: 15 seconds
Removes all hexes and conditions, for each one lost, lose 15 energy.

OR

Purge Signet
Activation Time: 3 seconds
Recharge Time: 10 seconds
Removes all hexes and conditions, for each one lost, lose 20 energy.

Yes, I am 'complaining' that the recharge time for Purge Signet is a bit long. Thus I would like to Purge Signet 'buffed', if this is ever possible. However this is just me, my point of view, my opinion.

All right, now everyone else care to tell me what they think?
Does Purge Signet needs a buff? A reshuffling of its stats?
Yes?
No?

Please comment, criticize whether you voted yes or no.
Thank you for your time.

Cheers.

I always question why people use this skill. 3 seconds, 30 recharge. They'll use it on a warrior, but alas I just get blind slapped right back on me and sit there swinging at air. It only takes one hex or one condition to make a warrior useless so why bring a skill that removes so many?

There have been very few times when I could think of this skill actually having a use for me, and even in those cases Smite Hex/Remove Hex was enough to remove the threat.

Any change would be good.

You should try casting it on your party monk the next time he gets hit by a hex train.

At the very least it will get the Backfire off of him for a few seconds.

I've never used it, does it work at say 1 energy attempting to purge 4 hexes, or do you require enough energy per or it fails, because upping the energy would make the few people who may use it not want to, I mean a warrior could barely get two hexes off at 20 energy, and if they have gladiator's and a focus, it is more than likely they'll use a few other energy skills, thus making the signet rather useless.

It removes everything no matter how much energy you have. It's supposed to be a skill that a W/Mo carries into battle to rescue the healer.

Ok so even with 1 energy you can purge 10 hexes or so from a target? See that seems rather overpowered to allow that without a 30 second casting timer, since no caster in their right mind would use it currently, just a warrior throwing it around for no real reason, would say no buffing at all. Maybe a faster cast since 3 seconds is a bit of time.

I'm pretty sure that it used to have a 2 sec cast and has been nerfed.

However if no one is using it (and a-net has those stats) then it might be time to cut its cast time.

I say change the cooldown on Purge Signet to 10 seconds. Casting time needs to be 2 seconds.

If not, come up with a Martyr skill for hexes. Or better yet, add a "transfer all hexes" effect to the current Martyr skill.

In any case, as it now stands the inability to adequately counter hexes in Guild Wars due to ludicrous arbitrary skill limitations like cooldowns is really making hexes way overpowered.
